Doxa Soi O Theos – Pyrofylakio (Fire Lookout Station) Nature Trail
A mountain path that offers a panoramic view in all directions from an altitude of 1400 – 1600m along the ridge of Madaris. It ends close to the Adelphi peak (1613m). One has the opportunity to go up to the Madaris fire lookout station which overlooks the area. The peak is located on the hard, resistant and pyrogeneous rock of the Troodos mountain range. It is connected with other nature trails of the area such as: Madari – Selladi tou Karamanli and Doxa Soi O Theos – Moutti tis Choras. At start point (a) there is a spring fountain with drinking water.
Starting Point: Doxa Soi O Theos area 2km from Kyperounta and 5km from Spilia, on the asphalt road Kyperounta – Spilia,
Starting point (b): Madaris fire lookout station. Access by car is available from the road Chandria – Polystypos in the direction of the Adelphi peak that is 3km away. An asphalt road up to a distance of 800m from the starting point (b). The last 800m is on an uneven, narrow and rugged dirt road.
