Agia Irini Nature Trail – Limeria

The route crosses dense woody vegetation, offering great views of Morphou Bay and the opportunity to visit hideaways used by the EOKA fighters during the anti-colonial struggle of 1955-1959. In Selladi Tis Straorouthkias, the route meets the Kourdali-Limeria route (Digenes Caves) and the routes continue on a common course for a further 2 km.

When crossing the path, you passes through a pine forest, but also through many other species of flora and fauna. The most important species that can be found are hares, foxes, birds, partridges, and others.
